My garden in Khandallah, Wellington is named Corryvrach after the place in Deeside where the Begg family farmed.   It is down a long drive with a small garden in front of the house and a larger one at the back.  Down the side of the back garden is a fernery which is very much a work in progress.

I help develop and maintain the heritage garden at the Halfway House in Glenside.  It surrounds the Halfway House which was built in the 1880s and was a hostelry halfway between Porirua and Wellington.

Visiting other gardens, both grand and not-so-grand, as well as being enjoyable provides me with lots of ideas to try in my garden.
