Following this year’s AGM, Wellington garden historian Dr Clare Gleeson will present an illustrated talk on Alfred Buxton, New Zealand’s foremost garden designer, and the women connected to his work.
Clare is a regular contributor to New Zealand Gardener and received the Royal New Zealand Institute of Horticulture’s award for garden history in 2025. Her book The Fairer Side of Buxton will be available on the night at a members’ price of NZ$50.
